Quality & Authenticity

Quality You Can Understand. Authenticity You Can Trust.

When you purchase a product online, you should know what you are buying.

Where did it come from?

What does it contain?

How was it handled?

How should it be stored?

What makes it authentic?

At PahadiMittise, we believe quality is not simply a word used on packaging. Quality is a process. It begins with selecting appropriate products and continues through sourcing, handling, packaging, storage, communication, and customer support. Our approach to quality and authenticity is designed around one simple principle: Tell the customer what the product is, where it comes from, and what they can reasonably expect from it.

What Authenticity Means to Us

Authenticity can mean different things depending on the product. For a Himalayan agricultural product, authenticity may relate to its geographical origin. For a traditional product, it may relate to its ingredients or method. For a regional specialty, it may relate to its connection with a particular community or place. For PahadiMittise, authenticity means that the product's identity and story should be represented honestly. We do not believe authenticity should be created through marketing language alone. It should come from the product itself and its genuine connection to its source.

Our Quality Philosophy

Our quality philosophy has several important elements:

Source

We want to understand where a product comes from and who is involved in bringing it to market.

Product

We consider the product's characteristics, ingredients, appearance, usage, storage, and other relevant factors.

Handling

Products need to be appropriately handled before they reach customers.

Packaging

Packaging should be suitable for the nature of the product and its transportation requirements.

Information

Customers should receive clear information that helps them make an informed purchase. Consistency

Where consistency is reasonably achievable, we aim to maintain it while recognizing that natural products can naturally vary.

Understanding "Natural"

The word "natural" can be interpreted in many different ways. At PahadiMittise, our natural-product philosophy is connected to products that have a meaningful relationship with natural ingredients, agricultural sources, traditional practices, or regional resources. However, "natural" does not automatically mean:

● Organic

● Chemical-free

● Medicinal

● Suitable for every individual

● Free from allergens

● Clinically proven

● Guaranteed to provide a particular health outcome

Product-specific claims should always be understood in the context of the information provided for that product.

Organic Claims

Not every natural product is necessarily certified organic. We do not want customers to assume that a product is organic simply because it is described as natural or because it comes from a rural or mountain region. Where an organic certification or verified organic status applies to a specific product, the relevant information should be provided appropriately. Customers should check the individual product information for specific certification details.

What We Do Not Promise

We believe honesty is more important than making attractive claims. PahadiMittise does not want to promise that every product will:

● Look identical to every previous batch

● Have exactly the same taste or aroma every time

● Provide a particular medical outcome

● Be suitable for every individual

● Be organic unless appropriately represented

● Remain unaffected by improper storage

Natural products have natural limitations. Our responsibility is to explain them clearly.
